Best Salsa

I swear I am always craving Salsa! I’m really not a fan of the jar kind, it just doesn’t hit the spot like this one.

What we need

  • 1/2 Can of Crushed San Marzano Tomatoes

  • 1 Poblano Pepper

  • 1 Green Pepper

  • 1 Red Pepper

  • 1 Jalapeno Pepper (If you don’t like your salsa spicy you can eliminate this!)

  • 1 Red Onion

  • 1 Small Shallot

  • 3-4 Fresh Garlic Cloves

  • 1/2 Cup of Fresh Cilantro

  • 1 Lime

  • 1 Cup of Water

  • Food Processor or Blender

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

  • 1 tsp Sugar

Lets go!

First, if you don’t have a food processor no problem. Just make sure to mince all of the veggies super fine then mix all together!

  1. Wash & Remove stem/seeds from all peppers.

  2. Slice Peppers into pieces then chop in Food Processor transfer to Large Bowl

  3. Next chop Onion, Garlic, & Shallot in processor & then add to pepper mix.

  4. Cut your lime in Half and squeeze lime juice into your pepper onion mixture.

  5. Add in your 1 Cup of Water & 1/2 Cup of Cilantro.

  6. Then add your teaspoons of Salt, Sugar, & 1/2 tsp Pepper.

  7. Stir all together & Slowly mix in your 1/2 of a Can of San Marzano Crushed Tomatoes.

  8. Transfer Mix into a large blender.

  9. Pulse for 1-2 Minutes. (If you like your salsa a little chunkier pulse for less time)

  10. Scoop the perfection!
