Best Salsa
I swear I am always craving Salsa! I’m really not a fan of the jar kind, it just doesn’t hit the spot like this one.
What we need
1/2 Can of Crushed San Marzano Tomatoes
1 Poblano Pepper
1 Green Pepper
1 Red Pepper
1 Jalapeno Pepper (If you don’t like your salsa spicy you can eliminate this!)
1 Red Onion
1 Small Shallot
3-4 Fresh Garlic Cloves
1/2 Cup of Fresh Cilantro
1 Lime
1 Cup of Water
Food Processor or Blender
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Sugar
Lets go!
First, if you don’t have a food processor no problem. Just make sure to mince all of the veggies super fine then mix all together!
Wash & Remove stem/seeds from all peppers.
Slice Peppers into pieces then chop in Food Processor transfer to Large Bowl
Next chop Onion, Garlic, & Shallot in processor & then add to pepper mix.
Cut your lime in Half and squeeze lime juice into your pepper onion mixture.
Add in your 1 Cup of Water & 1/2 Cup of Cilantro.
Then add your teaspoons of Salt, Sugar, & 1/2 tsp Pepper.
Stir all together & Slowly mix in your 1/2 of a Can of San Marzano Crushed Tomatoes.
Transfer Mix into a large blender.
Pulse for 1-2 Minutes. (If you like your salsa a little chunkier pulse for less time)
Scoop the perfection!
